Buena pregunta. Me encantaría conocer los argumentos de las personas que eligieron la foto, aunque apostaría a que fue por un tema puramente comercial. No considero a Madelman excesivamente racista, pero estamos hablando de una época en la que ver un negro por la calle te hacía girar la cabeza (cuando no salir corriendo y esconderte). La pena es que no sacaran un oriental…
(Sigo con el tema!) …También conviene apuntar que en Madel excluyeron al porteador negro de las cajas del supere quipo Kenya safari que destinaron a la exportación. En su lugar pusieron otro cazador blanco. Sabían que en países como U.K. no admitirían un muñeco negro al servicio del gran cazador blanco.
La verdad es que el comentario era solo una excusa para poner la canción de los Specials que me gusta mucho ;)
En cuanto a lo que comentas tienes razón, hace 40 años la sociedad era distinta y veíamos las cosas de forma diferente, juzgar ese asunto desde una perspectiva actual nos podría llevar a querer prohibir Tintin en el Congo… ¡¡¡Calla!!! Que ahora que pienso ya hay algún iluminado que lo quiere prohibir…:D :D :D
